Action Speaks!

My first ever muse was my sister And today it's her daughter! When she is in our arms She wanna fly! When she is on the floor She wanna swim! Indeed, her limits are beyond the sky. Whenever we meet her We want to hold in our arms Not wanna let her go! But she is a bird, a free bird Who can't be confined in the walls. When we talk She involves herself in the chit-chat Listens carefully And gives input in indecipherable words Implying ' Every voice matters'! Infants tend to sleep more But she is peculiar She doesn't sleep, Seems she knows 'Being different is the new normal .'

The Diary of a Mother

6th Sep 2021- Kimaya❤Maa-Paa Last time when i wrote was her 6 months birthday. Today half a month has been added to her age. I am glad that i started penning diary, otherwise with time memories fade away. So before writing, i turned over the pages and cherished the moments the diary has encapsulated in itself. It was absolutely enraptured. Coming back to the present, today's diary is not about a day or an event. It is about the process which has eventually taken a shape. It would be misleading if i say she has JUST started recognizing us because that has been happening for a couple of months. Now besides recognition, she has begun expressing her love towards us. Whenever she perceives that we are near to her, she turns her head to catch our glimpse and tries to jump out of others' lap. Her eyes start twinkling, face beams with vivacity and lips move apart showing her tiny teeth. It is just mesmerizing. Though it makes things tough at times as she wants one of us always aroun

I know it sounds cheesy, But WHENEVER WHEREVER i look at you, The sun gets hazy The day gets breezy My hair gets frizzy,  In a nutshell you drive me crazy! So I just wanna say, I will STAY,  Not gonna let you turn gray, Grooving together on MANIKE MAGE HITHE! P.S.- While everyone is making reels/shorts on the songs, i use them to write my blog😋

The Diary of a Mother

22nd August 2021- From Carrying to Caring   In July 2020, i got to know about my pregnancy. Everyone was elated and started suggesting child's name. It seems funny but i think unofficial naming ritual is the mandatory step to begin celebrations. So we were done with the name and decided 'chiku' for a boy and 'kiwi' for a girl. Then the actual phase of pregnancy began. My day used to start with dizziness, nausea and ended with the same. Gradually pregnancy related complications had started to worsen. I got rashes, blood pressure was elevated, my weight was increasing and every possible thing that could happen had befallen me. I couldn't even sleep peacefully but whenever the child kicked or moved inside, my whole difficulties and pain just vanished. I used to wait for the day when we went to hospital for sonography and observed my child moving and enjoying. It was so satisfying sight to behold that made my all sufferings worthy. After a 9 months' cycle of d

GRATITUDE- a Newborn's version

When i sleep beside you,  I sleep the deepest!  When i feel hungry,  My eyes search for you impatiently!   When i play,  I espy you beholding my activities attentively! When i wake up at midnight, You feed me uncomplainingly!  When i cry,  I find your arms holding me tightly!  When you call me,  A radiant smile flashes on my face instantly! When i fail to spot you nearby,  I feel like crying incessantly!  Maa, with you  I feel the safest! Contd.... P.S- Things will be added as the newborn gets older!

12th April- Brother💜Sister It has been a long time since i have interacted with my diary. Maintaining a diary is surely not a cakewalk. It is an uneath task that requires commitment and consistency. As of now i am back with my pen and diary has been opened, ink is ready to flow on the page. Since morning, statuses were being updated, relatives were calling, delicacies were being prepared and our boy, Kanha had been in celebratory mood. It was quite obvious as today is his birthday. He is Kimaya's cousin and had been very excited to celebrate his birthday with her and in his words, 'his real sister' . Indeed, children are an epitome of pure love. In the evening we decorated the room with colourful balloons and candles. Birthday boy and his newborn sister had been dressed in lovely outfits gifted by his nani maa. Cake cutting ceremony was organised, yummy food was served and pictures were clicked. Life is hard but we shouldn't forget to cherish these little moments

The Diary of a Mother

27th March- Back to Normal It has been a month and 3 days since she has entered in our life and we thank God everyday for the precious gift he has bestowed on us.  The first year of a child is very crucial as it is the phase when maximum development takes place, be it physical or mental. So a child needs your 24×7 care and attention. I am lucky to have kind- hearted and caring in-laws who looked after her when i had to lay on bed for day and night. But as i have been recovering well by God's grace and everyone's blessings, i am now able to do some daily chores for Kimaya. We have also started to go out for evening walk to preserve 'us' time. It is quite essential so that your relationship doesn't get preoccupied by child's birth.  Tommorow is Holi, so her mamu and maasi have come to pay Holi greetings. Her chachu is also here. Pictures are being clicked as per ritual😄  Indeed a good day it is! Written by: Maa❤ Edited by: Maasi❤

ANIMAL FARM

Hey folks! Welcome to 'IN MY MIND' Literature Festival. I am your host. Today we have renowned personality(P) with us (who is in my mind) . So let's begin with Q and A round, I hope you will enjoy it! Host(H): Let's start with your favourite book 'Animal Farm'. So which character inspires you the most? P: I would say Napoleon. The way he lead the movement and gradually swept away Snowball,( his ally and critic as well) is astounding. H: Who do you think help Napoleon the most to take over the charge of 'Animal Farm'? P: Indubitably Squealer, H:(obviously) he was persuasive, could turn black into white, manipulated figures and convinced everyone that Napoleon was the sole reason of every successful achievement and every stroke of good fortune. Even the taste of water was credited to him. So you can estimate his brilliant talking. I am myself a good orator and i can act as well, but there should be more like Squealer who can make my work easie

21st March- Nani's home🏡 Today we are going to Kimaya's nani maa's home. I have dressed her in a pretty frock gifted by her bua and we are all set to visit her granny.  As she has stepped out for the very first time, we are going to temple first to take Banke Bihari's blessings. Now we are heading towards my home. Today we have come to visit mommy because she has been severely injured by monkey and is going through extreme pain. But after seeing kimaya, she is much relieved. A radiant smile has flashed on her face and she is happily playing with her. I feel glad to be a part of mumma's happiness. And as usual mamu is capturing all her activities in camera and making her first visit to nani's home memorable for good reasons only! Written by: Maa❤ Edited by: Maasi❤

11th March 2021- Papa ❤ Kimaya Feeling of becoming father is ethereal. Someone has rightly said "No other love in the world is like the love of a father for his little girl." Whenever he holds her or kisses her, there is a pleased smile on his face. The person who never sacrifices his sleep, awakes willingly at her small cry at midnight. He enjoys when she sleeps on his stomach. I remember the day when Kimaya had been vaccinated, she cried whole night and it was the first time i saw him crying. It was soul stirring moment.  These small gestures are priceless and show love at its best. Wis she is like DIVINITY who vanishes all his worries. "A father holds his daughter's hand for a while but he holds her heart forever " Stay tuned for more heartwarming moments! Written by: Maa❤ Edited by: Maasi❤

MOTHER'S DAY SPECIAL 7th march 2021- Namakaran Sanskar 7th March, the day of her Namakaran Sanskar. Though we have already named her but from now she'll be officially 'Kimaya'. For her special day she is wearing a new dress which is gifted by her nani maa. She is looking like an angel and i can't take my eyes off. Whenever i look at her, i promise to myself to give her everything she deserves. Certainly a child is apple of her mother's eye. She is the only one who happily sacrifices her nights, days and life for her child and it can be felt only when you become a mother. As today she has been named, it is a beginning of her new journey. She will now be introduced to the world and it's my responsibility  to make her strong, well prepared for every hurdle and a fighter for her rights. Joey once said "There is no selfless deed in this world."  I think he forgot to consider mother. As today is mother's day, salute to all the mothers who selflessly

23rd Feb 2021- First Day The first photo session of our baby girl was done by her mamu, the person who loves to capture moments. He is eagerly waiting for her to be grown up as he is now bored to photograph the same people for years When everyone was beholding the newborn activities, i was lying on hospital bed, surviving on injections, bottles and medicines. I was not even able to catch her glimpse, hold her in my arms, feel the life form i had given birth to. But the thing that derived me to tolerate the pain and discomfort was this bundle of joy. I was zealously waiting for the day when i can hold her in my arms and feed her. Oh.. i forgot to mention one silly creature who got mad after seeing her, one and only her maasi  She used to take her in lap and attentively looking at her all the time.  Indeed the birth of a child is nothing but a miracle. THE DIARY OF A MOTHER

22nd Feb 2021- BIRTH DAY Finally the day arrived we had been waiting for. It was started with my water breaking at 6am. We rushed to hospital. Mild contractions had also begun so we decided to wait for vaginal delivery. But God had other plans. After 10 hours of waiting we had to give nod for cesarean section. After all we couldn't put our child's life at risk. I went to operation  theatre and was lying on table where i heard a doctor saying 'arey ye to susu kr ri h' and after that i became unconscious. Nurse announced the birth of a baby girl to my family. I don't know about their instant reaction but today i can surely say  that she is 'jaan' of everyone. So this is about her birth day, the beginning of 'The Diary of a Mother'. Stay tuned  for another day from a mother's diary. Written by: Maa❤ Edited by: Maasi❤

COVID19 2020 v/s 2021

From silence on roads to silence in HEARTS! From 50000 to 3 lakh cases per day! From walk for home to run for HOSPITALS From various cuisines on table to crying for OXYGEN! From a line outside liquor shop to a line for CREMATORIUM  From instagram challenges to posts for HELP! From गमछा to 3 layered mask! From moderate situation to FRIGHTENING one! But some things are still the same. From no data on economic and employment status to no data on COVID19 deaths! From no arrangements for migrant workers to no availability of oxygen cylinders, beds and ventilators! From unplanned lockdown to irresponsible election rallies! 2020, the most ominous year till the 2021 didn't arrive. Today we are in 2021 and none has dared to declare this year the worst.

Nature Quotes

Sun is bright in the sky, Are you bright from inside? Breeze is here to calm the weather, Who do you have to calm your hassle? Moon in the night is to bless your eyes, Is there anyone who is the apple of your eye? Rain falls to fix cracks in the earth, Do you have one who fix you when you are in dearth?    Oasis in the desert is a ray of hope, Whom do you consider your ray of hope?
